Rules for LEARNER LICENSE

LEARNER LICENSE

Operations involved in LLR are

1.       Fresh
2.       Retest
3.       Correction
4.       Duplicate
5.       Expire DL
Minimum requirements to take fresh LLR (1st time)

1.       Applicant should have 18 years of age to apply for Fresh LLR (16 – 18 years people can take w/o gear vehicles)
2.       Applicants should book their slot through online (and payment of fee) to obtain LLR.
3.       With that slot particulars applicant applies for LLR with required enclosures.
4.       Applicant signature and image should be capture before giving LLR test
5.       If applicant fails the LLR test by following the below criteria applicant have to apply for retest.
a.       First time have to wait for 3 days
b.      Second time have to wait for 7 days
c.       If more have to wait for 2 months
6.       After obtaining LLR applicant should wait for 30 days in order to take DL test.
Minimum requirements to take fresh LLR (Adding covs to existing Driving License / LLR)
  1. If applicant already contains valid DL / LLR there is no need to book slot.
  2. While applying for LLR applicant must produce DL / LLR in case of adding vehicles.
  3. Applicant must have 10th qualification if applying for MTL, 8th If applying for TVEH.
  4. If applying for transport category applicant must have 1 year experience in the non transport category.
  5. No need to attend for LLR test.
6.       Applicant signature and image should be capture in order to issue LLR.
7.       After obtaining LLR applicant should wait for 30 days in order to take DL test.

Minimum requirements to attend retest for LLR

  1. Retest check will be done as mentioned in fresh LLR (1st time) point 4.
  2. Need to attend for LLR test.
3.               After obtaining LLR applicant should wait for 30 days in order to take DL test.

Minimum requirements for LLR  duplicate / correction
 
  1. Applicant must have valid LLR.
  2. Only First Fame, Surname, DOB and fathers name will be corrected for correction of LL
  3.   Applicant signature and image should be capture in order to issue LLR.
  4. If applying for Duplicate LLR reason for duplicate should be provided.

Minimum requirements to take Expire DL
  1. Applicant should have valid DL which is expired 5 years before the current date.
  2. LLR will be issued for the class of vehicles which are expired 5 years before
  3. Need to attend for LLR test.
4.       Applicant signature and image should be capture in order to issue LLR.
5.       After obtaining LLR applicant should wait for 30 days in order to take DL test.
